Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton at the International Justice Conference
Lindy Chamberlain-Creighton is one of the keynote speakers at the International Justice Conference in Perth 8-12 March 2012.  The conference is open to the public, registrations can be made here. Single day registrations are also available.

Lindy is a patron of JusticeWA, organisers of this event.  This groundbreaking event is the first of its kind in the world.  It brings together victims of injustice with international and national experts in justice, forensic science, law, law enforcement, criminal psychology and criminology who have been involved in both prosecutions and exonerations.

Lindy says, “I became involved with JusticeWA because their program had the right foundations for sustainability and the state has laws which have also adopted precedents from my case which allow the correction of wrongful convictions.  Unfortunately not all states have adopted these yet.

Initially scheduled as a fundraiser, this conference has become much more than that and organisers hope that it will be the precursor for change in the way we approach law and forensics in Australia and internationally.”

Fact sheets about the event are available here.  For any media enquiries regarding the International Justice Conference please contact Melissa Bramley, Director, Bold PR.
