Once a celebrated and adored British composer, now bankrupt and living in a flat above a laundromat, Phil Scott is bringing the enigmatic story of Lionel Bart to the stage in his latest act Reviewing the Situation. 

Reviewing the Situation by Phil Scott & Terence O’Connell will premiere this week at the Hayes in Sydney, and then onto Adelaide and Melbourne in June. This new and entertaining production conveys the journey of a tortured artist, featuring all of Lionel’s extravagance throughout his life. Featuring classic songs such as From Russia with Love, Consider Yourself and As Long as You Need Me, Phil brings the story to life in a night of provocative and captivating storytelling.
