A hit at the 2015 Cabaret Season, Phil Scott returns to the Hayes Theatre Co in 2016 with Reviewing the Situation, a delightful and insightful look into the life of Lionel Bart.
Once Britain’s most celebrated composer who created the iconic musical Oliver! and lived in a 27 room ‘Fun Palace’, is now bankrupt and living in a flat above a laundromat. This entertaining production conveys the journey of a tortured artist, featuring all of Lionel’s extravagance throughout his life. Featuring classic songs such as From Russia with Love, Consider Yourself and As Long as You Need Me, Phil brings the story to life in a night of provocative and captivating storytelling.
