Real estate guru and host of Selling Houses Australia exclusive to the LifeStyle Channel, Andrew Winter is now the lead contributor to the new look News Ltd property publications nationally.

Interior stylist Juliet Love and Andrew’s co-host, gardening expert Charlie Albone are also driving new engagement with the real estate sections in community and regional newspaper coverage.

Over the past 12 months, News Ltd papers, which include the Daily Telegraph in Sydney, Herald-Sun in Melbourne, Gold Coast Bulletin and Sunday Times in Perth – just to name a few – have revamped their real estate sections with Andrew, Charlie and Juliet featuring prominently.

More than 40 newspapers across the group now have new look property pages focused on “news you can use” that helps consumers understand what the property market is behaving and how to make good decisions to get a result buying or selling a home.

“We were looking for a contributor who understood the real estate industry and knew his stuff but was not associated with an individual agency brand and who would speak up on behalf of consumers,” says National Real Estate editor at News Ltd, Kylie Davis.

“Andrew was the perfect choice – our readers love his wit and humour and the fact that he doesn’t pull any punches but tells them what they need to know about the market and how they can get the result they want.”

“Juliet and Charlie have also given some real depth to our coverage with their expertise and we’re looking forward to using them more in the new year.”

Andrew was also the star attraction in the Property Masterclasses created by News Ltd in association with the Commonwealth Bank and RP Data.

More than 2600 people across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast attended the seven masterclasses with readers oversubscribing to the free event.
