Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small is having a big week.
The host of Australia’s #1 national night radio show Smallzy’s Surgery has been at the centre of two major announcements; as host of Radio X Factor and leading the broadcast of Nova’s Red Room Global Tour together with Optus. No surprises there after continuous number one surveys for the Smallzy’s Surgery team.
X Factor Radio will give listeners all things X Factor Australia. Featuring exclusive backstage access after each Sunday’s live show, candid chats with judges and contestants, music from global X Factor stars, show performance highlights, as well as live performances from contestants and special guests. X Factor Radio will feature on the Nova network nationally, Sundays between 4pm-6pm and Mondays between 6pm – 7pm. Tune in tonight.
Smallzy will be leading Nova’s Red Room Global Tour together with Optus, taking with him 26 competition winners, partners, media and a team of Nova’s content producers, to experience four Nova’s Red Rooms featuring six artists, across four international cities all in only seven days. Smallzy will be sharing highlights from the Red Room performances and artist interviews with his listeners.
Smallzy defines relevant new media talent and is expanding his influence beyond radio and into television and content. He is a regular entertainment and social media presenter on Weekend Today and is well placed to talk about both. The level of engagement across social media for the content that Smallzy creates has led to over 122,000 Twitter followers, 10,900 Facebook fans and 25,800 Instagram followers and that audience not only keeps growing but has his name trending nationally and internationally 5 nights a week.
