Next month author and human rights activist Tara Moss will lead an In Conversation Business Chicks breakfast with Gloria Steinem in Melbourne.
Gloria Steinem has championed women’s rights more for over 60 years and is dubbed the Mother of Feminism. A social activist, writer, editor and lecturer who has done everything from work as an undercover Playboy Bunny in the ’60s to championing women’s reproductive freedom when it was still a taboo subject, and co-founding the feminist Ms. Magazine in the ’70s.
Tara Moss is an outspoken advocate for children’s rights and women’s rights, UNICEF Australia’s National Ambassador for Child Survival, Patron for the Full Stop Foundation for ending rape and domestic violence, and in 2015 received an Edna Ryan award for making a feminist difference, inciting others to challenge the status quo. Tara toured with Business Chicks nationally in 2015.
