Osher announces through song “I’m leaving Brisbane” to Hit105FM breakfast team, getting ready for Bachelor in Paradise and hosting ‘YesFest!’ to support Marriage Equality

After a week's holiday Osher Günsberg returned with some sad news… that he broke in a song

Osher Günsberg has announced today that he will leave HIT105’s Brisbane Breakfast Show Stav, Abby & Matt with Osher this month. With Network TEN announcing this week that Bachelor in Paradise will launch across the TEN and WIN Network in 2018, Osher told his co-hosts “I’ve got roses to count on TV” and largely put the decision to leave breakfast radio down to needing more time with his family between filming schedules. Starting his career at B105 in 1994 on the overnight shift, Osher thanked his co-hosts for “the most wonderful 2 years of my life”. His passion for working in radio remains, it will now be from his Sydney base.

Today Osher was also announced as the host of YesFest! bringing together a suite of marriage equality supporters ranging from Jimmy Barnes to Flight Facilities. YesFest! is Sydney’s once in a lifetime music festival – inviting millennials to post their ballots as they come together for one big party celebrating the fight for equality. Osher Günsberg is the host of Network TEN’s The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise. He has recently recorded his 200th episode of The Osher Günsberg Podcast with guest Fiona O’Loughlin. Osher currently hosts Osher’s Love Line nationally on Sunday nights on SCA.
